Project 366

Well....six months later and I'm back in the saddle! :) Having baby numero dos has been fun, exhausting, challenging and wonderful. It's also sucked up every available moment of free time that I ever had as a mother of one. Walker is a wonderful baby, but a terrible napper. Currently, he's laying in the boppy next to me on the couch, not napping. He LOVES attention. Lots of it!
If he thinks he needs you, he will screech, whine, pout or arch his back until he's successful in catching your attention. So, if this post is full of typos, it's because I'm not looking at the screen while I type! More about Walker and his last six months soon...

My favorite blog is the Mommypotamus. I LOVE the things Heather blogs about. She's a really amazing person and her blog is very helpful. She recently posted this blog. Project 366. A photo a day of each of my children. Sounds simple enough. Right? She gives credit in her blog for who the project originated with. I read the blog. I bawled. I'm riddled with guilt over the fact Walker has VERY few photos compared to Coleman. My computer began having issues the end of April last year, and were recently resolved the week before Christmas with a replacement of the entire hard drive. Thank you Apple store! However, since my hard drive wasn't working, all my SD cards were full, and I couldn't take more pictures with the "good camera." I used my phone a lot, but it's no where NEAR the same. I am grateful I took his newborn pictures and I love them. After all, who could resist this face! (Or adorable buns as the case may be...)

So, I'm going to do my very best to take a picture of the boys every single day in 2012. It may not always be an individual picture of them, because they love to interact with each other and already have a very close relationship. I love watching them together! I'm going to blog about them occasionally as time allows, but look for them weekly in my Project 366 folder on Facebook.

  1. Great idea. I'd love to see all the photos as they grow in the next year!

  2. What an awesome idea. I understand about not getting pictures. By the time Wyeth came around it was hard keeping up with pictures and baby books. Tierney probably has the most. And my kids were all in the days before all these neat picture ideas. Maybe I should take pictures of Wyeth for a year. But getting her to pose is quite the challenge!

Glad to see you are blogging again. I have lost my blog in this thing called life.
